The Rules & How It Works
Rule #1: Safety First
Your safety is our top priority. Always be aware of your surroundings and avoid taking unnecessary risks. Stay on designated trails, wear appropriate gear, and bring water and a phone in case of emergencies. Remember, the adventure is meant to be fun and safe!
Rule #2: Stay in Public Areas
The treasure is hidden within a specific boundary, so please stick to the areas outlined in the clues. There’s no need to go off-limits or trespass on private property. All clues will guide you to safe, accessible locations.. If there is a treasure hunt located at a local business, please abide by their rules, hours of operation, and do not trespass or damage property in any way.
Rule #3: Respect Nature
As you explore the beautiful landscapes of Idaho, please be mindful of the environment. Do not disturb wildlife, plants, or natural landmarks. Leave no trace—pack out all trash and belongings to help preserve these areas for future adventurers.
Rule #4: Respect Fellow Hunters
We know precious winnings are at hand, but this is a friendly competition, and we encourage everyone to respect one another. Be courteous to other participants, and avoid interfering with anyone's progress. We're all here to have fun—let’s keep the spirit of adventure alive for everyone!
Rule #5: One Winner Only
While many may search, only one treasure chest will be found, and only one winner will claim the Grand Prize. If you find the treasure, please follow the instructions located inside of the vessel as the winnings will not be inside of it for sercurity reasons. Stay tuned for future hunts if you didn’t win this time!
How To Claim Winnings
The chest doesn’t hold the actual prize (cash, gift cards, or other rewards). Instead, inside you’ll find instructions on how to claim your winnings. Once you’ve found the treasure, follow the instructions to contact us.
No Shovel Required
You won’t need to dig or disturb the environment to find the treasure. Part of the treasure chest will always be visible above ground, making it easier to spot. Keep your eyes sharp as you explore the clues!
Winner Verification
When you discover the treasure, we’ll request a picture of you with the chest as proof. This helps us announce the winner and share the exciting moment on our website!
Hunt Duration
Each hunt will last up to 28 days—unless someone finds the treasure first! If no one claims the treasure within this timeline, the winnings will roll over to the next hunt, increasing the prize.
Treasure Location
While the treasure hunt takes place in Idaho, the treasure might be hidden in a neighboring state that is visible in the picture displayed on the website. Keep this in mind as you follow the clues!
Sponsored Treasures
Some of the treasures may be sponsored by small businesses, meaning the prize could include exciting items or offers from our sponsors, along with the main prize.
